You Are a Scroll
What does that mean? It means you were written of in heaven before you were ever born.
Before you took your first breath, heaven already knew the value you would carry. The world may teach that value must be earned, proven, or achieved. But heaven begins from a different premise:
You were created as value.
Your scroll is heaven's record concerning who you were created to be. It is not a title you must earn. It is a description of the unique value, design, and assignment placed within you from the beginning.
The world says:
“Earn your name.”
“Prove your worth.”
“Become valuable.”
But heaven says:
“You were written valuable. Your name simply describes what you carry.”
What Are Shadows?
When we enter the world, we arrive in alignment with that original design. But the world we enter is often shaped by pain, fear, confusion, and disconnection.
As children, we experience wounds before we have language to explain them.
So we adapt.
We learn to hide.
We learn to perform.
We learn to please.
We learn to fight.
We learn to withdraw.
Over time, these adaptations become versions of ourselves that were never part of the original design.
These distortions are what we call shadows.
Shadows are not who you are. They are adjustments to identity formed in response to pain. They were survival strategies. They helped you endure. But what once protected you can eventually prevent you from returning to yourself.
The danger is not that shadows exist. The danger is mistaking the shadow for your true identity.
You have a scroll. And you have shadows.
Your scroll is what heaven wrote.
Your shadows are the distortions that formed when pain went unnamed.
